We crashed Partiful… and crossed 20 million streams
AM.RADIO is officially a hit, and our label is growing
On Friday we rolled out more records on Putyouon Music Group crossing 21 million streams for the artists on the year, and the next day we had 2,000 people at a coffee shop to see our secret lineup of Disco Dom (Dombresky), Night Tales, and Sunnfors. Here’s how it all went:

AM.RADIO 004: How it went, what we learned, and what we’re cooking up for 2025
We just crossed 11k members of the music club…
AM.RADIO is starting to catch fire. I told you how we used the music club to get 2k RSVP’s in 42 minutes for AM.R 003. Well, this time around for AM.R 004, we actually crashed the Partiful app- the first time this has ever happened to them. These events are becoming almost like merch drops. Since you have to be in the music club in order to get the invite, people have been joining and anticipating the release of the RSVP link for these. We plan on having RSVP only events for 2025, as we saw the crowd was pretty packed on the patio of the coffee shop. We’re also going to introduce a putyouon “Club Card” in 2025 to make it even easier to get into these events for free.
More on what I learned at AM.R 004:
What went wrong?
People couldn’t RSVP for over 30 minutes when we dropped. Partiful’s team hadn’t seen a surge of RSVP’s like that before and we were working with their dev team to fix the issue for 30 minutes before people could RSVP again. After the smoke cleared, we still hit our 2k RSVP’s limit in just over an hour.
A speaker went out during Dombresky’s set because one of our vendors plugged their toaster into our power source (unknowingly). This ate up all the power from one of our power banks and after 2 hours and one speaker went out.
The vinyl system couldn’t get up and running for Dombresky (even though we did sound check the night before) but what can you do. We switched back to CDJ’s after 10 minutes of trying and still had an amazing set.
What we learned:
We need to limit capacity and start to honor RSVP’s. It was PACKED
The secret lineup move is working well, as again we didn’t release the lineup but people are loving the anticipation and as long as we keep getting great artists this will work
We need more coffee stations! Lines are just too long and we want less people in line more people socializing and watching the DJ’s
What we’re cooking up
We’ve been in deep talks about expanding our events to other cities. The top markets we’re looking at are San Diego, Austin, Denver, Chicago, New York, Seattle, and Miami. We are also talking to some really popular festival and music events about having a presence there, so fingers crossed because if we lock these it’s going to become really interesting here.
Great end to the year, a lot to look forward to, and think the Club Card will be a game changer as well.

I’ll help in San Diego! 🥳
