We've Created A Worldwide Coffee + Music Culture
Why we feel we are the industry standard, and advantages we have on our side to keep us #1
The secret is out- throwing coffee shop music events is the top trending event in your local city: Austin, Chicago, San Diego, Miami, Toronto, Dubai (to name a few). And while people keep sending us “copycat events” - we’re excited on the growing market opportunity and how we’re able to stay ahead. Here’s how we’re doing that.
Label Update: We released three songs this week via Putyouon Music Group, bringing our total for the year to 34. We’ve even been able to sign songs from artists that we are slotting in to future AM.RADIO’s and the goal is to eventually throw an AM.RADIO with an artist that our music club loves and to celebrate the release together that day.
We’re building a perfect synergy between the label, and the event side of things.

Now- what is our unique advantage that continues to separate us from other morning coffee shop events?
1. The success of AM.RADIO didn’t happen overnight.
AM.RADIO was born from the putyouon platform which has established itself as a top independent curation platform for music. For four years I’ve been posting emerging artists, trending songs, and moments from around music culture. This is what enabled us to build a viral event focussed on incredible talent, amazing content, and quality storytelling. The relationships we’ve built are what allowed us to get artists to support us by showing up and playing, the social accounts for us to push the events via collab posts, and eventually go viral unleashing the hype around AM.RADIO. This is essentially the accumulation of building an audience of music fans, trust in the market, and an established name in music we could use to get the idea off the ground.
2. We’ve built an amazing team
The success of AM.RADIO is not just my videos and curation of the lineups. It’s the production of the events: From the partnerships, to the sponsors, and the artist hospitality. I brought on my good friend Dan to the team about 8 months ago, and he’s the best event producer I know. There would be no AM.R without him- he’s been grinding and making sure we have the details no one notices such as site maps, artist advances, cut downs of our content to post, and communication with sponsors so we can continue to make these possible. Dan is the lead in conversing with the artist teams as we work with bigger artists involved with some of our favorite labels and management groups. This is just as much of him as it is of me, and we have a great partnership wearing different hats, and it’s allowed us to stay lean in our team.
Our final team member? Hudson
Hudson is an amazing Director of Photography and creative. Dan and him knew each other in Denver while they both lived there before LA and Hudson is responsible for the multi cam set up, capture, and content organization. The shot list, set up, take down, and full set content production. Him and Dan tag team the content as well, so that’s another hat Dan wears which enables us to move quickly and stay in sync.
3. The content
Our content is what sets us apart, and what has lead to 14,000 YouTube subscribers, 55,000+ Instagram Followers, and 32,000+ TikTok followers. We started this idea as a way to get unique DJ sets on YouTube to help artists and their songs get discovered and championed, and that has been the core of everything we do. We don’t want to sacrifice a big event for sub par content, so that is the back bone of how we think about our events and so far we’ve been able to keep that as a core focus. We’re getting over 1.5 million views on Instagram per month alone, just crossed 1 million YouTube views, and I’m excited to see these numbers continue to grow.
4. The Music Club
We’ve scaled our music club to over 16,000 people from content and keeping our events feeling exclusive to the public. I cant find any other events that are joining the morning coffee and music space that can do that. They need to rely on ads, PR, marketing, and public outreach. Us? We continue to only invite the music club, and that is what we set out to do. Invite only events where people feel a part of something, telling their friends and feeling like they belong to a community of others. That’s the exact vibe when you attend these, and this has been the most fun aspect to watch unfold.
Our position
The plan is to break artists from AM.RADIO sets. Similar to how Boiler room was a badge of honor for years for artists, we want AM.RADIO to be that as well. We plan to remain artist focussed and be the force that brings music fans unique experiences, and artists exposure to further their careers. We are now able to select artists who are asking us to play the events, and our outreach emails to artists and teams are being responded to at a high rate of interest. This was the plan all along, and by utilizing the above aspects of content, hype, and audience - we’ve been able to emerge as the #1 morning music event in the world so far. As we see the market grow and more morning coffee events pop up, if we do our job right we will be known as the #1 target for artists and brands to work with to carry out successful events all around the world.
So to recap on what sets us apart and how I think we’re going to separate from the pack:
Trust and experience in music curation and audience building
A great team
High quality content
Our music club
Cant wait to show you where we’re headed next, join the music club to find out when and where we’re popping up this year. We have some amazing opportunities lining up for us and we’re going to keep working to become the coolest morning coffee + music event in the world.
