Welcome to my first ever paid post on Substack. Whether you were here since the beginning, or just joined us- thank for being here and allowing me to share how I’m building.

Now, what did I learn in our first 100 posts on AM.RADIO’s Instagram?

We’ve been posting since AM.RADIO 001 in September and in 2025 we’ve been consistently getting just north of 1 Million Instagram views per month.

No ads, no giveaways, just consistently posting good content.

Our growth didn’t come from one viral moment. It came from doing the work:

→ Consistent posting

→ Cross-posting across label and artist pages

→ Tight visual hooks that make you stop scrolling

Dan edits all the cut downs from our sets, send them to me, and I add the text and complete the post on our channels. But aside from the quality of content we’re putting out, there are some key tactics that got us here, and lessons that any artist, brand, or curator can take with them. Here are 7 key takeaways:

1. We Post Like No One Has Seen Us Yet

Because honestly, most haven’t. That mindset has helped us stay hungry and never assume we’re saturating anyone’s feed. Every post is a new introduction. I’m always using the first line of the caption to showcase who we are. “Morning coffee sets in (city)”.
